• Title / Position: Graduate Student

I am interested in cultural history, semiotics, history of cartography, and GIS (not necessarily in that order). I would like to find ways to integrate both semiotics and GIS into the study of history. I have had a long interest with computers and am excited to see historians and other scholars engaging with digital technologies. Although I can't quote my hi score at Galaga, I did grow up in a video-game generation and would love to see history make its way to such a medium.
