My research centers on early modern Spain, currently on the role of food in establishing and maintaining social identity in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. My technological background is fairly limited - I know basic HTML, a little bit of JavaScript, I maintain websites for professional organizations and a personal blog; I would love to learn GIS but haven't yet. I had to look up Nicholas Carr but I am an ardent follower of Bethany Nowviskie and Julie Meloni.
